All Cats!

We prioritize helping senior, medical and adult cats that needs homes, but will take in all cats as our capacity allows.

We intake Feline Leukemia (FELV+) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+) cats. We have a separate sanctuary facility for our FELV+ cats.

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Program:

We love helping feral cats who need spay/neuter. Send us an email if TNR is needed in your area (we help when we can.)

Senior/Hospice Dogs

We have found a calling that could not be ignored. We have more than enough love and compassion to provide to senior dogs (9+). Our intent is to match them with their forever homes.

We have dedicated fosters who provide end-of-life care quality of care to those who have found themselves unlucky to be able to pass with compassion surrounded by their previous owners.

Our Mission

At Smiley's Rescues, we advocate for the safety and health of animals. We are the voice of the unhoused, injured, sick, neglected, and abused. We provide sanctuary to abused animals, animals who come to us from unsafe conditions, and animals who have complex health and medical needs. We take our name from Smiley, founder Sid's childhood cat. As he was there for her, we vow to be there to provide love and a voice to animals in dire need. Everyone deserves their version of a Smiley. Smiley's Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Our Passion

Welcome & thank you for your interest! My name is Sid Williams, and I am the founder and director of Smiley's Rescues. I have always had a passion for saving/helping animals. When I was 9, I adopted my childhood cat Smiley. He helped me through very tough times, and I will be forever grateful. Sadly, he passed away in 2019 at age 10 when he lost his battle with kidney disease. I always knew I wanted to do something great in his honor.

Fast forward to now - We started Smiley's Rescues in 2021 and have helped more than 793 animals. I am so proud and grateful to the people that have helped us. "Our team consists of myself, my daughter (#1 volunteer), & husband Jordan (construction extraordinaire.) We also have three dogs and a number of permanent cats - some with health issues that make them more difficult candidates for adoption.
